Michael Sofranko is a poet, writer and editor, who teaches Creative Writing and English at Houston Community College NW.  For 18 summers he’s also conducted Creative Writing classes at Cambridge University, England, as part of the Oxbridge Academic Program, where he served as Dean of Faculty.  Michael’s work has appeared in dozens of literary journals, and he’s been honored with the Sean Christopher Britton Award, was twice nominated for a literary Pushcart Prize, and his full-length collection, American Sign, received the Antonio Machado Prize in Poetry.
