Lizzie Ballagher has written poetry and fiction (under the pseudonym Elizabeth Gibson) all her life; she has also served as a teacher on both sides of the Atlantic. Having grown up on a Norfolk farm, then after spending many years working and traveling in Ireland and the US, she particularly enjoys writing about big landscapes. Her poetry celebrates, explores and maps spiritual and internal terrains, too: the joy and poignancy of what it means to be human. She blogs at https://lizzieballagherpoetry.wordpress.com.
